Free Condoms

Condoms can help protect sexually active people from unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. That's why at Allen Women's Health we offer condoms for FREE!
Condoms are available for FREE in the restroom FOR ANYONE, whether they are a patient or not.  Patients also have the option of asking their provider for condoms during their appointment.
Steps to correct condom use:
*Talk to your partner about using condoms for any sex: vaginal, oral or anal.
*Check the expiration date. DO NOT use expired condoms!
*Open the package carefully so you don’t rip the condom or poke a hole in it.
*Check to see which way the condom unrolls before putting it on the penis.
*The penis has to be erect (hard) before putting the condom on.
*Pinch the tip of the condom and leave about 1/2 an inch of room at the tip so the semen (cum) has somewhere to go.
*With your other hand unroll the condom all the way to the base of the penis.
*Use plenty of water-based lubrication, like K-Y Jelly® or Astroglide®.
*After ejaculation (cumming), partners should separate while the penis is still erect.
*Hold the rim of the condom in place while pulling out so that the semen doesn’t spill.
*Make sure the penis is away from the partner’s body before removing the condom.
*Throw the condom away (DO NOT flush it).
TIPS:
*Use a new latex condom for every act of intercourse. This includes vaginal, anal and oral (a non-lubricated latex condom can be unrolled and cut down one side to create a dental dam for oral sex on a vagina or anus).
*Store condoms in a cool, dry place (NOT the car glove compartment!).
*Use plenty of water-based lubricant (like K-Y Jelly®).
*DO NOT use oil-based products like lotion, massage oil or Vaseline® for lubrication. It might make the condom break.
*Never re-use a condom.
*Only use 1 condom at a time.
*Don’t use a male condom and female condom at the same time.
